Kingston Container Terminal as a part of the Port of Kingston, operated by Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited (KFTL), is a major logistic hub in the Caribbean, strategically located near the Panama Canal and serving high volumes of container traffic between the Americas.


The terminal operates in a high-intensity environment with dense vehicle movements, crane operations, and continuous coordination between control centers, drivers, and on-site personnel, making reliable, real-time communication essential to daily operations.

As operations became more data-driven, Kingston Container Terminal required a modern communication solution capable of supporting broadband Push-to-Talk, real-time data exchange, and system integration. Meantime, heavy equipment noise continued to impact communication clarity in critical operational zones.
